Cameron Highland

What!!.. Cameron Highland.. hehehe.. xde tempat lain ke??...

that's was my first thought. but when mom says she wanted to go to Cameron.. I say OK.. Nevertheless, the whole family including my own have never been to Cameron. So on 2 & 3 February, off we go. reach Tanah Rata around 5am. oh yes..little note.. this trip was also joined with some of my moms friends..so its a big group. they travel by bus and my own little family by car..since we got lots of things to carry..

Continue..reach there at 5am.. wait till morning prayer and continue sleeping in our car..mr. hubby cum mr. driver was very tired due to following the bus slowly up the terrain. we took Tapah road. I must say that the road is very snake-like..some places is like S shape cornering. really testing your driving skills...for about 60km. we end up taking more a less 2 hours to reach tanah rata.

After breakfast, we start following the bus wherever it goes..my moms friends isn't really planning where to go and what to do..so we back and forth tanah rata to brinchang and either way..my family already tired with my kids haven't taken their morning bath. only at 2pm we check in hotel.. not so much interesting story to tell on the first day. But the second day was the best..

Although the water was deadly cold..hahaha..heater plak rosak..i boil water for my kids but not for me.. we get dressed up and start our travelling. we check out that morning about 8am. Mr. hubby said he wanted to check out BOH tea plantation cause he already went to Bharat tea plantation during his convoi with friends. So off we go.

Umar dah siap nak alan-alan.. (jalan2)

Apparently, we didn't find the BOH plantation. We saw Bharat Tea PLantation and stopped by. cause i'm so hungry. Haven't had breakfast yet. I wanted to walk at the tea valley but somehow there is a bee hovering near Dhiyaa.. I'm scared of getting stung, so we run away from a BEE..hehehe

Kabus...

Bangun pagi sangat..dah ngantuk..

After that, we went shopping.. i bought strawberries..jem and juice..knitted sweater for Dhiyaa.. some vegetables..can get 3 brocolli for RM10..people say that vegetables are very cheap here. And it's true..and Umar's tractor..he wouldn't want anything else except some tractors or cars or lorries..this time we bought some small tractors for him to play while travelling in car..

Finally sampai kat BOH tea plantation..

Mr. hubby met with his customer Dato' Khanna who lives at Cameron Highlands for 48 years. He told us about BOH and Bharat tea plantation. Luckily today the BOH plantation factory is open. Not wasting any minute, we drove the mountains slope and steep terrain to reach here.. BOH tea plantation..its tea house is better than Bharat. the tea plantation is more organized than in Bharat..Clean. and there's quarters for their workers, an indian temple and a surau..here's some pic there.

guess what's the symbol is??

it's time to say goodbye to Cameron Highlands..We wanted to try another route.. Simpang Pulai.. it was rather a pleasant road although a little bit further up from Tapah. But at least i wasn't dissy and nausea during the trip..compared to using Tapah road. we reached Simpang Pulai around 2.30pm..about 1 and half hr drive..BAsically..i was a nice experience.. we can't afford to go overseas YET... but this is quite alright.. however there are some dissapointment too..the surrounding area wasn't clean enough as there are lots of tourist came here too..and also because there still some development going on in Cameron Highlands, dust are everywhere as well as lorries..lastly, when we took the simpang pulai road, we saw a huge amounts of forest being cleared to give way for farms..it's good economically, but its bad for the environment in Cameron, I think..before i leave, here's some pics of Dhiyaa..
